Dr. Jeff Chen has been serving the Shoreline area for more than 10 years. Over the years, he has developed a practice philosophy centered on honest, skilled, ethical and family-oriented dentistry. Dr. Chen strives to ensure that patients are comfortable at every phase of their treatment, focusing on a patient-centered practice.
Dr. Chen graduated from the University of Washington graduate dental specialty program in Prosthodontics. He is an active member of multiple dental societies and continues to serve as an esteemed faculty member at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Dr. Chen is at the forefront of current research and techniques in restorative dentistry: he has written multiple peer-reviewed academic articles and has presented his work to a wide audience with invited speaking engagements, receiving both national and international recognition.
Dr. Chen practices full-service general and restorative dentistry, from fillings, veneers and crowns to implant dentistry using the most modern techniques. Dr. Chen has spent considerable time in service, research, and mentorship and has received numerous awards for his work, including the prestigious Seattle Met’s Top Dentist award.
In his free time, Dr. Chen spends his time exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest along with his wife, Joan Nagatomo, who also practices dentistry, and their two young children, Ethan and Sakura.
