Karen Wang, DDS, Family Dentist
Dr. Karen Wang was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and has made her home in Washington. During college, she discovered that dentistry perfectly integrates her passion to help others with her natural skill & talent with arts & crafts. She began her dental journey as a surgical dental assistant, and continued her education at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Go Dawgs!
During her time in dental school, Dr. Wang served as a student leader in the UW Chapter of the American Student Dental Association. She also performed research on ceramic veneers with our prosthodontist, Dr. Jeff Chen, won second place in a research competition. This article was recently published in the Journal of Taiwan Academy of Operative Dentistry. Dr. Wang spent significant time performing dental community service, mentoring underclassmen and graduated magna cum laude, top 10, in her class.
Dr. Wang’s practice philosophy is to treat every patient like family, with kindness and a gentle hand. Her goal is to help you achieve your smile and health goals, while developing patient confidence in lifelong oral habits along the way. She focuses on providing top quality care to patients of all diverse backgrounds, dedicated to teaching patients about understanding their oral health.
Outside the office, Dr. Wang volunteers regularly with the Seattle King County Clinic to perform dental community service. Dr. Wang loves to teach, and continues to mentor pre-dental students in their journeys towards becoming dentists.
In her free time, Dr. Wang enjoys playing video games, cooking, baking, watching movies, knitting, cosmetics, volunteering at church, reading, and spending time with her husband, Jon, and dog, Ollie.
